What is involved in a consultation?
A phone call, Zoom, or in person meeting will be set at your convenience. We discuss your interests, travel ideas, budget and more. This usually takes 30 minutes. From there you will be sent some travel options and quotes that are tailored to you. If you know exactly where you want to go and on what dates, great! If you need help deciding where to go, that's what we're here for.
If I move forward on a booking, when is payment due?
Once you agree on your proposal/quote, the next step is to book the trip. When a booking is confirmed, the payment amount and due dates vary. A deposit may be due, or payment in full may be required. As your Travel Advisor I will keep you on target for all payment due dates.
How do I pay for my booking?
Payment will be processed via a secure online form that captures your credit card details. Information needed for booking and payment includes a copy of your passport. These items will be requested from you before a booking is made.
If I can book a trip myself, why do I need a Travel Advisor?
A Travel Advisor books exclusively with vetted and quality suppliers. You can be assured you will be safe and sound in upscale places. We can book your flights, and quickly rebook you if your flight is canceled or delayed. An Advisor also has access to booking portals that the general public does not, thereby accessing deals and perks unkown to most. Also, a Travel Advisor takes away the headache of scouring the web. We reduce stress when it comes to planning. Our knowledge and insight on places gives you an advantage. We can add upgrades and recommend dining and excursions that are tailored to you. If something goes wrong, we have your back. We will be on the phone with the travel partner to make things right for you. You don’t have to be on hold. For a true supportive experience, a Travel Advisor is a must when planning a vacation.
If I have an issue while on my trip, will you help me resolve it?
Yes of course! We are there to advocate for you. If you have an issue while on your vacation, we can work to solve it directly with the travel operator and we can get your results faster than if you were dealing with problems on your own.
Can I cancel for any reason?
Generally, you cannot cancel for any reason. This is why travel insurance is important. It is an excellent idea to include Travel Insurance on your trip. It will cover many potential issues including lost luggage, weather events, cancelled flights and more. If you are sick, a family member dies, or you lose your job, travel insurance will help get your money back if you cancel. Of course we must adhere to our travel supplier policies, which I will keep you informed on. As your Travel Advisor I am able to offer you travel insurance to protect your investment.
If I miss my flight or have connection problems, can you help me rebook?
If we book your Air, we can help! You don't need to stand in a line if we handle your Air booking. We can get you rebooked. If you book your own airfare, it must be handled by you. As the traveler, you are the only one who can adjust your flights and airline payments.
Will you help me figure out the Covid rules I need to follow?
Yes. As your personal Travel Advisor I will let you know what is required regarding Covid Tests, quarantine rules and more for the destination you are traveling. It is up to you to make sure these important rules are followed.
If I book with Celebrated Travel, can I still use my Marriott, Hilton, Amex or other loyalty points?
Absolutely. Passing along your loyalty details will allow us to book using points and more from your rewards programs. We also partner with the company called PointMe, which works to maximize your points. We do charge for this service.
